Genmai miso

The word miso means source of flavour. “”Mi” is flavour and “”So” is source. Miso is a paste made from fermented soya, cereal (depending on the type of miso) and sea salt. It is made by pressing the soya grains with the cereal and the sea salt, and left to ferment.

Wakame seaweed

This is an edible seaweed which is highly prized in oriental cuisine and forms a plant-based supplement in many dishes.

Nori seaweed

“Nori” is the japanese word for several spices of red and green seaweed that grow in warm water in the Atlantic, Pacific and Mediterranean.
